Plexar has acquired the majority stake in Phlit, a Danish energy technology company specializing in optimization, machine learning and software for flexible energy assets.
Plexar aims to deliver energy independence through cost competitive microgrids. The future power system requires the integration of electrical engineering and AI. With the acquisition of Phlit, Plexar strengthens its mathematics and software programming capabilities, enhancing its ability to leverage cost competitive renewable power to deliver integrated energy solutions.
Guided by a highly experienced team with unique expertise, Phlit has developed sophisticated mathematical tools for managing energy assets and optimising flexibility in balancing markets. Combined with Plexar’s existing capabilities, this offers a strong strategic fit, supporting a shared ambition to deliver robust electrical systems that accelerate electrification for customers while mitigating grid congestion issues.
Phlit’s co-founders Rama Subroto, Tomislav Dragicevic and Wybren Oppedijk founded the company in 2021 and received early backing from Copenhagen-based NOON Ventures and has since built a team with expertise spanning optimization, machine learning, software development and power systems.
